LG Series

The LG Series high-speed Abrasive Belt Bevelers are designed especially for high volume beveling. The machines can process a variety of metals including carbon steel, stainless steel and especially metals with high alloy content including Nickel (Ni), Titanium (Ti) and Chromium (Cr).

The machine is offered in two versions: The “3000 Type II” version which accepts large plate or small plate segments up to 3 m (10 feet) in length or the “3000 Type III” version which is expandable in increments of 1.5 m (5 feet) and therefore can accept any size work piece.

The LG is CNC controlled and can bevel materials up to a rate of 3m/min (10ft/min) by utilizing a 100 mm wide x 3200 mm long (4” x 10 ft) ceramic grinding belt that can produce an accurate bevel face up to 60 mm (2.4 inches). The speed and efficiency of these machines will return your investment quickly. Any customer with continuous beveling applications would be a prime candidate for installing this beveling machine.

LGA Series
Stationary Plate & Pipe Beveling Machine

The LGA series large plate beveler is ideal for high volume plate processing. It is best for beveling thick hardened or alloy plate where torch cutting or hand grinding is impractical. The LGA series pneumatically clamps the plate onto a supporting table. The grinding belt moves on a rail system and the plate is beveled in one or more passes on the upper or lower side. Variable speed feed rates are up to 3 meters / minute.

By CNC control, the machine recalls the desired chamfer angle and chamfer depths. The databank can store around 200 programs with all of their associated parameters. Programming can be performed manually or by using the “Teach-In” operation. The standard manual controls are also included. Optional equipment includes manual or automatic controls, exhaust system, integrated rail system & support tables, safety barriers and automated chip removal system. Transformer to specified electrical requirements is standard.
