Saar-Hartmetall’s complete ID-scarfing systems consist of several towbar sections, impeder, optional notching mandrel, scarfing mandrel as well as a fully adjustable mounting unit. The modular towbar system allows for easy installation and removal without the need to disassemble a roll stand resulting in a reduction of changeover time.
